Of all music instruments, none has had such power to bring people together than the guitar. It is not uncommon to hear the sweet strains by a campfire, or as you're being serenaded over dinner by a trio or quartet. Guitar players sometimes perform to thousands in packed stadiums. And sometimes they perform to no one but themselves in an empty bedroom.

Through our guitar class here at StART, our goal is not only to introduce children to a new way to create music, but to an instrument who at times could be their best friend in their moments of loneliness. The guitar holds great potential to be a source of rejuvenation for an individual, and even greater potential to be a source of joy for those around.
